Poker Etiquette

Prime Poker has endeavoured to create a convivial and exclusive atmosphere in its rooms.

Regardless of the fact that this service is provided online, there are still certain standards which we want our players and guests to uphold, concerning behaviour at the tables.

Whilst we welcome all players with the same respect and enthusiasm, we will, when called upon take the necessary action to bar or suspend players who do not adhere to the principals of good behaviour. This includes those who abuse players or consistently disrupt games; these players will be removed without warning.

In keeping with the prescribed etiquette for playing in Prime Poker, we have a few basic table manners.

These consist of the following:

• The language of the tables is English: chatting should only be done in this language.
• No disclosure of hands is allowed whilst in play.
• Abusive or offensive comments or speech is not allowed.
• Nicknames or user names can only be used that are non offensive, any names that do not meet this criteria will not be permitted.
• Players that you would prefer not to listen to, can be silenced through the mouse button, clicking the person's head with the mouse button mutes that person, to reverse the procedure just click on the player again.
• Should a player take too long too move, you are quite at liberty to tell them; sometimes they believe the fault does not lie with them, so it is prudent to offer this timely reminder. Certain players have tried to breach the system by improving their play-money ranking by using their partner, where they raise to the maximum every round before folding. This practice is unfair to players who have achieved high rankings through dedication and activity, rather than fraud. The Prime Poker tracking systems will detect any irregularities such as this and the offending players will be disciplined.
• Players who deliberately cheat or credit dump are permanently banned.
• Finally, only create one account per person, duplicate accounts will be blocked.
